Carolynne is a general solicitor who practices in the areas of real property, wills and estates and corporate law. Every second Wednesday, she works out of the Vanderhoof and Fort St. James offices.
Carolynne was born and raised in Vanderhoof. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern British Columbia, where she was the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper and sat on the Board of Governors. She also holds a master's degree in journalism and worked as a newspaper editor for five years before pursuing a career in law.
Carolynne is a board member and past-chair of the Board of Trustees for the Prince George Public Library. She is also the treasurer for the Immaculate Conception School Council. Carolynne has previously served as a board member for the Innovation Central Society, the UNBC Alumni Association and the UNBC Childcare Society. In 2016, Carolynne was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
Carolynne and her husband Peter James have three children, Mary, Simon and Bridget. In her spare time, Carolynne enjoys going to the gym, swimming, reading and doing crossword puzzles.
