Professional Profile

Your new business is Stephanie Leong’s business, and she is right at home with transactions for your home. The business side of the law is Stephanie’s specialty zone. Clients typically come to her when they are contemplating a startup, an expansion, acquiring new property, liquidating real estate, or other development steps that need experienced legal eyes.

“I enjoy helping people navigate difficult situations or smooth out a stressful process like buying a house or starting a business,” Stephanie said. “It’s rewarding to be brought in as part of a client’s team when they are the initial stages of starting their business, I get to help it grow, and years later I get to enjoy seeing it expand or the client acquires a new business. I love being there at the beginning and being part of its growth over time.”

Assistants: Meagan Siebert, Jamie Seemann, Terri Pfliger, Katrina Burton

On A Personal Note

With her background in business and her relationships with entrepreneurs, it was fitting that Stephanie was elected to a director’s position with the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, to go along with her role as a board member at the United Way of Northern British Columbia. She also leads HSJ’s team in the Relay For Life for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Stephanie runs for fun and fitness as well, recently completing her first half-marathon with more in the plans. In winter she takes up cross-country skiing at Otway Nordic Centre for outdoor recreation, and in warmer weather she plies the local lakes in a kayak alongside husband Graeme whom she met at UNBC. Although she comes originally from Penticton and Terrace, and still has close contacts there, she and Graeme have happily called Prince George home for the past 15 years, which suits their happy dog Morris perfectly. For some quiet time Stephanie focuses on her vegetable garden, once again putting her care and skills into helping good things grow.
